Student work: sculpture- Paper mache, wire, paint, wood, glue

Sculpture - paper mache, wire, paint, newspaper, glue. Paper mache fish. See the small wire above the fish. This become a hanging mobile of sea life. Wonder project for middle school students.
Sculpture - Bear paper mache, glue, news paper and  paint.
Sculpture - Paper mache, a shooting star. Glue, wire, paint and newspaper. This was part of mobile and was part of a mobile that was part of science class. Integrating the arts into the curriculum is were the art teacher collaborate with other school classes. This helps other faculty teaching their curriculum and facilitates better projects. This shooting star became part of science fair at a school.

Sculpture - Abstract spiral painted form.. Sometime students choose to create their own ideas and some creative freedom is allowed. A labyrinth shape and circular form. (above) A girl plays with red jump rope, wearing pink dress and turquoise shirt.(below) Stories and classroom presentation and writing are born from projects like these. Student have little problem describing what they have made and presentation to classmates are given.
