Print Making: rubber stamp, linoleum block

Rubber stamp print- A eraser 1"x1" is carved into and design is made. The paint or ink is applied to stamp and pattern is made. Small carving knives are used and other specialty tools used.
Linoleum print - A five step process is used were image is first drawn onto special linoleum block. The lightest color is carved out first with special sharp tools. Each color must dry before next color applied. Last color carved out is the dark blue. This is about 5-10 + day project and multiple prints are made. Materials - Cutters, printing ink, brayer or rollers, glass tray, gloves, pencil and paper. (above) Flower (below) polar bear and building ( below)
